A dry ski slope has been recognised with Tripadvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Award for the fifth consecutive year.

The award for Alpine Snowsports Aldershot recognises attractions that consistently receive outstanding reviews from visitors and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Managed by Everyone Active, acting as an agent for Rushmoor Borough Council, Alpine Snowsports Aldershot welcomes around 29,000 visitors each year and has been a popular destination for skiing and snowboarding since opening in 1969.

The centre offers a wide range of activities, including skiing and snowboarding lessons for all abilities, race training, recreational practice, birthday parties, donutting, holiday camps, inclusive sessions, school group visits and activity days.

“The achievement reflects the dedication of the centre’s team, many of whom are passionate skiers and snowboarders themselves. Their commitment to delivering an outstanding visitor experience is reflected in the centre’s consistently high customer ratings,” a spokesperson for Rushmoor Council commented.

This award comes as the centre continues to invest in its facilities.  As part of a summer  refurbishment programme, the centre has made a significant investment in essential structural steel refurbishment works to help secure the long-term future of the slope.

Recent improvements also include enhancements to the slope’s misting system, while visitors can look forward to a new spectator viewing deck and new ski matting on sections of the main slope.

The centre will also host a number of major events in the coming months, including the Surrey Schools Championships, the England Schools Qualifier and the Snowsport South Finals.
