Sandown Gets New Adaptive Ski School
A new ski school catering for skiers and boarders with disabilities, is to open in southern England
The new adaptive snowsports school is being set up by Disability Snowsport UK (DSUK) at Sandown Sports dry slope in Esher, Surrey.
The move follows a £131,000 donation from the UK’s largest ski holiday tour operator, Crystal Ski Holidays, which is the largest single donation that DSUK has ever received. DSUK say they are now able to run taster sessions at the centre for any disabled person who thinks they might like to try skiing or snowboarding.
