New Modular Skiing Machines Unveiled at Singapore Mall

Two new modular skiing machines, developed by JFdryski, were unveiled this month at Central Mall in Singapore, marking a notable addition to the city’s growing all‑season sports scene.

The 5‑metre and 7.5‑metre‑wide installations feature the company’s golden needle mushroom dry‑ski surface and introduce a new indoor skiing experience to a tropical environment.

JFdryski say they worked closely with the venue to integrate its modular design into the mall’s upper‑floor space, using a system that can be transported in sections and assembled on site. The company also tailored the slope structure to the mall’s exact dimensions, providing a customised solution that streamlines construction, improves space efficiency and supports cost‑effective installation.

The company says that this modular architecture allows the machines to be expanded horizontally, enabling wider skiable areas such as the 7.5‑metre model now operating in Singapore. This broader platform offers a more open skiing feel and supports advanced techniques requiring greater turning space.

The machines also allow multiple slope gradients within a single run. Sections can be adjusted between 0° and 40°, creating gentle, medium and steep zones that replicate varied mountain terrain. This enables progressive training for all levels, from beginners building confidence to advanced skiers practising high‑speed techniques, within one continuous indoor setup.
