New Indoor Dry Slope Ski School Opens in Kuala Lumpur

Malaysia has expanded its year‑round snowsports offering with the launch of Slope Master Indoor Ski and Snowboard School, one of the region’s most advanced indoor dry‑slope facilities. The project was designed and supplied by SNOW MONKEY, which provided the full suite of dry‑slope materials, ski machines, and end‑to‑end services from design to installation.

At the heart of the venue is a 12‑metre‑wide, 40‑metre‑long dry slope built for beginners and recreational skiers and snowboarders. The layout can be adapted with mobile kickers, boxes, and airbag systems, allowing instructors to diversify lesson formats and create a safe, progressive environment for all ability levels.

The centre is one of the largest in the world, also featuring three state‑of‑the‑art dry ski machines,  two measuring 7×11 metres and one 7×13 metres, all fitted with the latest Plus Ski Slope material. The technology is engineered to mimic the glide, edge control, and tactile feel of real snow, offering an experience comparable to outdoor resorts.

Slope Master Malaysia operates the facility, with its main training hub based at Hextar World Empire City. The school is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00 and provides structured ski and snowboard lessons led by a professional coaching team. All courses include essential equipment such as boots and protective gear.

The opening marks another significant step in making skiing and snowboarding ever more accessible in Southeast Asia, offering a consistent, weather‑proof environment for newcomers and enthusiasts alike.
