Neveplast Launches New Tubing Features ‘WHOOPS’ and Automated Start
Alongside its core business creating artificial ski slopes, Neveplast has long seen the the potential of bringing all the traditional snow-based activities—beyond skiing—onto Neveplast surfaces too.
That vision led to the creation of their Tubby snow tubing experience, making it accessible all year round, even without snow, offering new opportunities for ski resorts and amusement parks around the world.
Neveplast launched its first artificial tubing track back in 2002, which was followed by the development of a wide range of accessories—starting ramps, parabolic modules, and braking systems—that made the Tubby track modular and highly adaptable to various terrains and settings.

This brand-new optional feature adds an extra dose of excitement and adrenaline to the tubing experience, turning straight sections of the track into fun, dynamic segments. Thanks to a special undulating design, WHOOPS introduces a series of gentle bumps that give riders a light and playful lift, creating a thrilling sensation similar to a small jump—safe, surprising, and seriously fun.
WHOOPS can be seamlessly installed on both new and existing TUBBY tracks, making it compatible with any setup and allowing facilities to upgrade their current attractions with a fresh, exciting twist.
“By amplifying the physical sensations of the ride and increasing rider engagement, WHOOPS transforms even the most basic descent into a memorable adventure. This innovation not only adds value to the user experience but also helps tubing operators stand out from the competition with a unique feature that guests won’t forget,” a Neveplast spokesperson said.
Neveplast are also introducing an Automated Start option, a cutting-edge system allows riders to control their own start by simply pressing a button on their right-hand side. Once the traffic light turns green, a barrier automatically lowers, signalling the perfect moment for the rider to start.
“By combining simplicity and technology, the Automated Start not only optimizes the tubing operation but also increases the perceived quality and safety of the entire attraction,” the Neveplast spokesperson added.
