A new snow park has opened in Berlin, one of the first cities in the world to offer indoor snowsports almost a century ago.

The German capital’s popular ‘Drop In’ Skater Hall has installed a state-of-the-art snowpack using a Slopetrax surface, supplied by Skitrax World, to deliver that real snowboard feeling!

As its name suggests, Skatehalle Berlin is popular with skateboarders and BMX Bikers, now it can be used by boards without little wheels too!

Skaterhalle Berlin, run by Drop In e.V., has a 1,200 m² street area, a park area and an outdoor skate area with a covered mini ramp. In addition to the sports facilities, there is also a café, a cinema and an outdoor bar to create a relaxed atmosphere.

Drop In e.V. are heavily involved in youth work and offer numerous workshops and courses, ranging from language support to cultural projects.
