Customised Lift Access Surface
Winter 23-24 has provided challenges for many ski areas around the world, battling periods of warm temperatures and low natural snowfall, with temperatures also too high at times for conventional snowmaking.
Neveplast LIFT has emerged as an innovative solution, used by numerous ski resort managers to overcome the difficulties related to snow scarcity in areas required for chairlift boarding and disembarking, ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience for skiers.
For the visionary Colere Infinite Mountain project, a ski resort in Italy’s Bergamo area undergoing significant development, Neveplast has created a fully customized version of the Neveplast LIFT, ensuring access to any area, regardless of snow conditions.

“Every one of our clients is unique, with their own special story to tell. Thanks to the customization of our Neveplast LIFT, the Colere ski resort made its important seasonal debut with an added touch of exclusivity,” A Neveplast spokesperson explained.
Like all other key products in the Neveplast range, Neveplast LIFT underwent a significant redesign in 2023. The new version brings many innovations, starting with the new geometry that absorbs thermal expansion due to temperature changes, ensuring a flat surface in all weather conditions. The dimensions of the new Neveplast LIFT are smaller than the old model, while the installation, like all Neveplast surfaces, remains simple through module interlocking.
Precision designed, Neveplast LIFT takes a cutting-edge approach while also offering eco-sustainability, demonstrating that technological innovation can be reconciled with environmental conservation.

Thanks to its high functionality and ease of use, once installed at the beginning of the season, Neveplast LIFT ensures access to any area, even in the absence of snow. This means eliminating the high costs associated with managing hard-to-reach areas using snow production and handling equipment.
Customization of the Neveplast LIFT not only solves the problem of snow consumption in lift areas but also adds a touch of exclusivity and unique identity to the ski resort.
“We installed Neveplast LIFT at the start and end of two new lifts to ensure that the sometimes critical boarding and disembarking areas were always operational, facilitating the work of their lift operators. The result was very satisfying,” said Silvio Rossi, Sole Administrator of Colere Infinite Mountain, who continued, “They wanted something unique that reflected them and their style; they enjoy paying attention to even the smallest details to offer the best to their customers. Hence the idea of customizing it by prominently featuring our logo. The Neveplast team did an excellent job of realizing what they had in mind, within tight deadlines. They hope to continue collaborating with Neveplast and explore other projects to make their ski resort more competitive not only in winter but also in the summer months.”
Niccolò Bertocchi, CEO of Neveplast, highlighted the company’s international presence while maintaining strong roots in the Bergamo area.
“The fact that most of the turnover comes from international sales is a source of pride because it means their products are well-liked globally. However, the bond with our original territory remains fundamental and represents a point of pride for the company. Therefore, we are particularly happy when we can collaborate with Bergamo-based entities, especially if they are courageous entities that believe in investing in the Orobie territory. Personally, I am deeply connected to my homeland and am thrilled that someone, with a prudent and visionary entrepreneurial choice, has bet on the revival of the Colere ski area. Colere Infinite Mountain is just beginning its journey towards complete renewal. The final project is very ambitious, and I truly hope that we can be involved in various aspects to make Colere a year-round tourist destination.”
